The use of this website and the purchase of products in the same is set by the hereby expressed Terms & Conditions. Please read the Conditions carefully before using this website. By using this site or placing an order through this site, you agree to be bound by these Conditions.
By placing an order through the website, you warrant that you are at least 18 years old and are legally capable of entering into binding contracts.
MARIA ANA is a Mexican made-to-order brand entirely handmade, sewn and knitted in our workshop, in a limited series. Before placing any order please make sure that the right size is chosen, as all pieces are made for each individual customer. Please read the following details regarding FAQs on all orders.
1. Prices & Payments
All prices are given in Mexican Pesos (MXN) and are automatically calculated and converted to other currencies through the website’s system.
Payments are processed through Paypal and Stripe, with the data protection systems established by these companies.
2. Delivery & Shipment details
After placing your order, you will receive an order confirmation by email. We work with little to no stock and every piece is made-to-order. For this reason, all orders are sent within 4-6 working days from the day the order was placed (outside weekends and holidays). Please note that unforeseen delays can occur, and we will do our best to keep you informed.
All orders are shipped from Mexico City. The items will be shipped to the delivery address that the client has indicated when placing the order. The local orders are sent by 99minutos only, and international orders are sent by FedEx. You will receive a shipping email with your order’s tracking number as soon as it is shipped. We ship worldwide, the shipping fees are automatically calculated at the basket. All details regarding the delivery attempts and location of your parcel must be directly addressed to the corresponding shipping company.
Custom duties taxes may apply outside Mexico and must be covered by the client at arrival of the package. Customs fees are calculated based on the package’s value depending on customs authorities of your country, and we will not accept returns or issue refunds to customers on orders that were refused due to unpaid duties.
3. Returns, Cancellations, Exchanges, and Adjustments:
As all of our pieces are made to order and crafted with special attention to each customer's order, we regret to inform you that we do not accept refunds, returns nor cancellations. Each garment is unique and created exclusively for you. Therefore, we can’t give a refund as we spent hours on your piece to make it for you.
We take pride in offering products of quality. If for any reason your order arrives damaged or defective, please contact us within 7 days of receipt so that we can address the situation appropriately. Exchanges will only be accepted in case of fabric damage if the case has been accepted by customer service through contact via email at hellomariaana@gmail.com or by directly visiting our showroom in Mexico City.
The package’s return shipment must be covered by the client and will be accepted in a 14 open days delay. Maria Ana is not responsible for any delivery problem with the carrier you have chosen. Articles must be returned in perfect condition, not used or damaged, along with the complete original packaging, tags, labels and any other accessory related to the items. It is important for the client to detail the product for which they want to exchange their purchased piece, along with any specifications. The exchanged pieces can be picked up at our showroom or be shipped in a period of 14 days after the arrival of the customer’s package, which must be paid by the client.
We do not accept exchanges on custom made pieces. However, adjustments to any purchased piece can be made if necessary. The adjustment cost for any new piece which has not been previously adjusted will be covered by Maria Ana. If further adjustment is needed after the initial measurements and tailoring is made, this cost will be covered by the client. It is important to contact the brand through their official channels to state the alterations wanted and to book an appointment for any measurements that need to be taken.
All the sales on our ARCHIVE sale are final.
4. Design and pattern variability
We work closely with local textile designers, and most of our pieces are hand made and printed. For that reason, there might be slight variations in color or print from our model picture to the final product. As this sits outside of our control, Maria Ana does not take returns based on this factor.
All orders are subject to availability of products. If difficulties arise in respect of the supply of products, or if any particular product is not in stock, we reserve the right to inform you about substitute products with the same or higher quality, which you will be able to order.
We reserve the right to withdraw any products from this website at any time and/or remove or edit any materials or content on this website. Whilst we will make our best efforts to always process all the orders, there may be exceptional circumstances which mean that we may need to refuse to process an order after we have sent you an order confirmation, which we reserve the right to do at any time, at our sole discretion. We will not be liable to you or any other third party by reason of our withdrawing any product from this website, whether it has been sold or not, removing or editing any materials or contents on this website or for refusing to process or accept an order after we have sent you the order confirmation.
5. Size and Design Information:
Providing accurate information when placing your order, including measurements and design specifications, is crucial. We cannot be held responsible for errors in information provided by the customer. Before finalizing your order, please carefully review all details.
6. Refusal to Process an Order:
We reserve the right to remove any product from this website at any time and to remove, or modify any material or content thereof. Although we will do our best to always process all orders, exceptional circumstances may require us to refuse processing an order after sending the Order Confirmation, therefore we reserve the right to do so at any time, in our sole discretion.We will not be liable to you or to any third party for removing any product from this website, regardless of whether the product has been sold or not, for removing or modifying any material or web page content, or for refusing to process an order after having sent you the Order Confirmation.
7. Re-Sale & Distribution
This shopping channel is restricted to consumers or the final recipients of our products, thus any professional activity of re-sale, agency or distribution of our products is prohibited.

9. Law and Jurisdiction
Contracts for the purchase of products through our site will be governed by Mexican law. Any dispute arising from, or related to, such Contracts shall be subject to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the Mexican courts. If you are contracting as a consumer, nothing in this clause will affect your statutory rights as such.
